Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Coco Martin were some of the celebrities who won at the 8th EdukCircle Awards.
On September 22, The EdukCircle Awards' official Instagram posted the list of winners for their seven new categories. Along with Sharon Cuneta and Sarah Geronimo, actress-host Anne Curtis was hailed as one of the Most Influential Female Film Actresses of the Year.
Anne responded through an Instgram post, saying, “Thank you to all the Deans, Academic Chairs, University School Officials and Students for making me one of the MOST INFLUENTIAL FILM ACTRESSES OF THE YEAR for my film Sid & Aya (Not A Love Story) at this year’s @edukcircle awards! Love and Light to you all! Sana when the time is right for you all lahat ng I love you, Ay maging love story talaga💖”
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano lead actor, co-producer and co-director Coco Martin also received two awards - the Most Influential Film Actor of the Year and the Most Influential Male Endorser of the Year.
Coco also took to Instagram to post a video while holding his two trophies. Coco wrote, “Maraming Salamat @edukcircle Awards sa parangal na iginawad niyo para kay @mr.cocomartin ang Most Influential Male Endorser of the Year at Most Influential Film Actor of the Year.”
Likewise, Daniel Padilla was hailed one of the Five Most Influential Film Actors of the Year and one of the Five Most Influential Male Endorsers of the Year. Kathryn Bernardo and Liza Soberano were recognized as two of the Five Most Influential Female Endorsers of the Year.
Other Kapamilya celebrities who also received awards were Boy Abunda as the Best Public Affairs Talk Show Host, Robi Domingo as the Best Male Variety Show Host, Luis Manzano as the Best Game Show Host, and Darren Espanto as the Most Outstanding Teen Artist of the Year.
