I am very honored to be the recipient of such an amazing award. I just want to thank God for everything He has done in my life...also to the executives for believing and trusting me with such a big award. !To my family who has always been there for me, no matter what the situation, or how big my problems were, they never left me alone. Just got my Doctorate Degree in Humanity Major in Social Work.(Honoris Causa) To God be all the Glory always!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️ #blessed
Isa si Daniel sa 18 na nakatanggap ng Doctor of Humanities Major in Community Services and Development na ibinigay ng BEST na isang religious organization.
"I'm really happy and blessed to have received that award and I will never say or think that I will give the award back. Of course, not. It is a blessing for my life no matter what. It means a lot to me and it means a lot to my family too," pahayag ni Daniel sa PUSH at ABS-CBN News nitong Lunes, September 17.
"Siyempre nalungkot kami, with all the hating and bashing towards me and my family. One thing I have to say is I'm just a recipient of the award," sabi pa ni Daniel.
"I don't know what are the criteria or anything, but I've been helping in my own ways ...from the bottom of my heart all those charities from different cities in the Philippines. I do it not to tell the public, not to tell everyone ...but unfortunately those bashing happen," tugon pa niya.
"I’m sure, they went to my background, they checked and there was a reason for me receiving the award," pahayag pa niya.
Unang una 'yung iginawad ng BEST kay Daniel Matsunaga na honorary doctorate degree in the perspective namin as a religious organization,” paliwanag ni BEST founder.
