Wil Dasovich, nag-swimming sa Pasig River

Wil Dasovich made the online world abuzz after posting a new vlog titled "Swimming in the Pasig River... I got sick." In the video, Wil invited his two friends from the US to swim in the Pasig River. Wil was fully aware of how polluted the river is but he asked his friends to do so to prank them.  In order to pull off the prank, Wil also had to swim in the river.

"This is how I got two of my friends to go swimming in the Pasig River. Unfortunately, I had to swim with them as well to make it all happen," he said. Though the water was dirty, Wil's friends enjoyed their time and even bonded with the kids in the community.

Wil mainly uploaded the vlog to raise awareness about the environment and to remind people to take care of nature after Manila made headlines on National Geographic about the horrifying state of Pasig River.

"One of the biggest issues in the Philippines is the human impact on the environment, and it's really easy to let the government or the private sectors, but at the end of the day it really comes out to us, you, me," he said.

Wil added, "Now alam ko na alam niyo na 'to but reminder never hurts. At the end of the day it's just really being mindful and that's the simplest thing that we can do as individuals." The Youtuber also shared that there are two organizations he supports now, which help saves the environment – WWF and SPSF.
