Another Filipina singer made an immense impression and wowed the “The X-Factor UK” judges anew. Seventeen-year-old contestant Maria Laroco blew away the judges when she performed the classic Prince song "Purple Rain" on the hit singing competition on September 8, Saturday.

"Since I was a little girl, I've always wanted to be an international super star. I want to be big that's why I’m doing this because I love to do it and this is my dream," Maria told the judges.

The Filipina contestant received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Ayda Field and Robbie Williams after her performance. Maria also got four yeses from the judges and advanced to the next round.

"That was absolutely incredible. To do what you've done at 17, vocally, you absolutely blew me away," judge Louis Tomlinson commented.

“So you are 17 years old and you've flown all the way which is a long trip. You've taken probably one of the biggest songs in the world. I'm gonna go beyond billion yeses. I'm gonna give you infinity yeses,” Simon told Maria.

Maria formerly auditioned on The Voice Kids Philippines in 2014 when she was 13 years old, using the name Giedie Laroco. She sang "Power of Love" and was a three-chair turner.
