After leading the pack at a recent fun run event, Gerald Anderson said that he considers it a privilege to still be able to represent in athletic events despite his packed schedule. “I’m just very blessed to have an opportunity like this and kahit papaano to be an inspiration to other people na kahit gaano ka-busy, kahit gaano ka-hirap ang schedule, there’s always time para mag-workout or exercise or tumakbo. So parang ako yung naging testament dun na kaya naman talaga eh. Despite the fact that there’s an acting career and may basketball pa. Pag gusto laging may paraan,” he told PUSH during the first Skechers Performance Run 2018 event held last August 5 in Pasay City.

Gerald said his secret to leading a full life is just taking good care of himself. “Running and exercise yun yung parang therapy and stress reliever ko. Just keep yourself motivated, dapat laging healthy and siyempre I owe it to my fans lalo na pag may project ako they spend money to see me and parang I want to give them the best version of me so yun yung motivation ko. Kailangan eh. Kahit medyo parusa, basta may oras makapagpahinga talagang sinusulit ko na,” he explained.

The Skechers celebrity ambassador said he also advocates the benefits of running with friends. Kami ni Jake (Cuenca) everyday kaming tumatakbo nung nasa Hawaii kami for ASAP.
