Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up Miriam Quiambao happily shared on Instagram that she is expecting a child. The 43-year-old former beauty queen shared a photo of the sonogram which was taken last month, July.
In the caption, she said that she and her husband Ardy Roberto “have been praying to get pregnant for the past 4 years” and they were even considering adoption through adoption or in vitro fertilization (IVF) but she got pregnant.
“In June 2018, we were resigned that perhaps God will answer our prayers through the miracle of adoption or through IVF but praise God who is the author of miracles and the creator of life! By His grace, He rewarded our faith with the greatest gift: a baby conceived naturally!” she said.
Miriam was previously married to Italian businessman Claudio Rondini in 2004 but after two years was separated and eventually divorced in 2009. She found love the second time around with author Ardy Roberto and got married again in 2014.
