<p> </p><p>Kris Aquino confirmed that she will be walking down the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of the <em>Crazy Rich Asians</em> movie on August 7. Kris was initially doubtful that she could attend the premiere since she was advised to have a complete bed rest after she had an anaphylactic reaction during her outdoor shoot in Indonesia recently.</p><p>In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Kris shared that her trip to Hollywood for the premiere will push through. </p><p>"<em>The 'tigas ulo/bawal sumuko/kakayanin lahat' in me hindi nagpatinag. Nagawan po ng paraan- lilipad kasama ng mga anak, our team, and my doctor to walk the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of the ground breaking, all Asian cast movie @crazyrichasians from @wbpictures</em>," she posted. </p><p>Kris remarked that she could not allow that Filipinos would not be represented in the international event. </p><p>"<em>Hangarin ng puso ko na mabitbit ang bandila ng PH in a movie highlighting Asian Culture. YES, let us always remember & uphold: WE FILIPINOS ARE WORLD CLASS! (sic)</em>," she wrote.</p><p>Kris was chosen to play a role in the movie after she auditioned for the film on March 25, 2017. She started filming her scenes on June 14, 2017.
