Sharon Cuneta is putting her past with Richard Gomez behind them.
Sharon Cuneta is doing a film with another ex who broke her heart in the past. And while she may have been left heartbroken by this guy at one point in her life, that won't stop her from making their movie Three Words To Forever from happening for their fans.
The Megastar dated Richard Gomez back in the ‘90s. While she may consider him one of her "greatest loves," she later on revealed in an interview with Magandang Buhay that Richard happened to be one of her most painful breakups alongside Robin Padilla with whom she did a movie last year.
But what exactly made her decide to say “yes” to doing this project?
"My God. We've been doing movies since before we married other people and even after we got married. It's a non-issue now. That was a long time ago," she said during the story conference for her reunion project with Richard.
"The last movie we did together we were already married. He to Lucy, I to Kiko—was fifteen years ago. So parang you know, anytime. When it's a Richard movie, I never say no," she added.
Though the Megastar admitted that there were heartbreaks, she couldn’t also deny the fact that she had a fair share of happy times throughout their on-off relationship. They are also doing it for their fans who made the success of their films at the box office possible.
"No, because he's one of my faves. It's one of those team-ups na you know, by God's goodness, people love so our movies have always done in the box office, so it's just nice lang.
“It's nice to be doing this again for them and for us also. Hindi naman puro heartbreak 'yun. Happy happy times also," she said.
To be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, Three Words To Forever will also star Kathryn Bernardo who is set to play their daughter in the film.
