Angelica Panganiban also shares her experience attending the Fuji Rock Music Festival in Japan last month.
Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban and Glaiza de Castro's friendship has withstood the test of time. In fact, theirs is one of the few in the industry that proves no network war could come in the way of their friendship.
Just recently, the two friends went on a trip to Japan to attend the famous Fuji Rock Music Festival.
"Liberating, siyempre. Tapos siyempre, medyo humbling. Nag-camping lang kami for three nights. Mahirap. Talagang challenge sa friendship, physically and mentally. 'Yung utak ko na kumakausap sa katawan. 'Sige, sige. Kaya mo 'yan. Laban mo,’" Angelica said in an interview during the recent ABS-CBN Trade Launch.
"Matagal na planning. Actually, halos mga two years siyang plinano. Takot kami. Takot kami dahil baka kung ano magawa namin dun. Wala kaming idea at all, eh. So ayun, eh naging okay naman. As in sobrang worth it lahat ng pagod dun sa sayan na na-experience namin during the show, during the festival," the Playhouse actress added.
Having had the chance to write songs for Glaiza's album Magandang Simulain which was released last year, Angelica Panganiban has high hopes that she could still get to write a song for her best friend in the sooner or later.
"Mukha naman. Madami kasi kaming sinusulat. Sobrang dami naming mga sinusulat na kung ano-ano. Minsan parang kung ano lang 'yung pinaka kailangan dun sa specific na… 'di ba parang minsan kapag 'yun 'yung emosyon mo, biglang 'pag binasa mo ay ‘ang ganda pala neto. Sige nga, lagyan nga natin ng music,’ ganyan. So depende siguro 'yun sa magiging mood talaga," she said.
Angelica Panganiban is set to star in a new teleserye with Zanjoe Marudo titled Playhouse.
