Jameson Blake speaks up on graphic designs controversy: ‘Wala naman akong bad intention’

Weeks after Jameson Blake's controversial tweet about seeking free graphic designs in exchange for a shoutout drew flak on social media, the 21-year-old Kapamilya star, who currently stars in the movie Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi alongside Sue Ramirez and Markus Paterson, finally decided to break his silence.

“I’m okay now after what happened. It was just for a week. Normal naman yun sa industry, yung mga bashing," he said during the media conference for Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi, assuring people that he is doing okay now.

The Hashtags member also revealed that he found that social media account deactivation was the best way to let things cool down.

"The only thing I can do is keep silent and let it die out. Actually ang ginawa ko, I deleted my social media for a week."

He also found the things he had gone through ironic as he is set to play the role of a character who doesn’t use social media.

"So it's kind of weird kasi yung character ko in this movie [Ang Babaeng Allergic sa] WiFi hindi siya nagso-social media."

Jameson also made it clear that he never intended to offend anyone as he was “just asking a favor.”

"I don't have any intention of downgrading anyone. I was just asking for a favor. So maybe they just found it offensive.

“And siguro that’s just their perspective, that’s their opinion sa tweet ko. If they would just analyze clearly, wala naman akong bad intention sa tweet ko."

Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa WiFi is set to open on August 15 as part of the list of entries at this year’s Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
