‘I Love You, Hater’ love team, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, revealed that they secretly go to cinemas to check on fan reactions to their movies.
During the press conference for their new movie I Love You, Hater, Joshua Garcia shared that aside from the monitoring efforts of the management, he and love team partner Julia Barretto secretly go to cinemas to observe fans reactions. “Like sa Rockwell, nanunuod kami para tignan ang reaksyon ng mga tao, pero secretly,” he said. “Iba-iba (na mall)... So tinitignan namin yung mga reaksyon nila (na mga nanunuod). Lahat sila, iba-iba,” he added.
Meanwhile, Julia also praised Joshua’s performance as Joco, a guy who pretends to be gay to get a job. “It was fun to watch (the takes on the film). He pulled it off, he really pulled it off.”
Also comparing her latest character Zoey to her past roles, Julia described her as the ‘most free.’ “That’s how I connect also to Zoey… In real life, (I feel like) makulit naman talaga ako, and very carefree. I love Zoey so much… she’s carefree, but she’s very driven, when it’s time to work, it’s time to work.”
The Star Cinema rom-com movie will be shown nationwide on July 11, Wednesday.
