Marian Rivera talks about the first time husband Dingdong Dantes gave her flowers.
Marian Rivera said she has always had a fascination and love for flowers. That is why she started her luxury floral boutique Flora Vida which specializes in preserved flower arrangements that are personally designed and arranged by Marian herself. The actress even went to Japan last year to attend a special class on floristry under the guidance and instruction of a world-renowned florist in Kyoto.
The Hana Shampoo celebrity ambassador said she would always choose roses when asked which flower describes her best. Dun talaga ako uuwi at paulit ulit kong sasabihin yun. I love flowers,” she explained.
Marian said the idea to pursue her passion project came naturally and with full support from her husband Dingdong Dantes. Sa office ko more on roses at saka kabuki, medyo kakaibang bulaklak, old rose nga kung tawagin,” she said.
Even before she got married, Marian said receiving flowers from Dingdong for the very first time was enough to brighten up her day. “Hindi ko pa siya asawa nun. Siguro nung may mga shows pa kami like anniversary ng Marimar and may mga meetings and everything, nagbibigay siya ng flowers. Pero malamang yun bigay ng GMA yun (laughs),” she recalled.
