Before Sandara Park and Nam Joo Hyuk stepped on stage for their highly-anticipated fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena last Sunday, July 29, PUSH and several other members of the press had the opportunity to catch up with the two South Korean stars.
Both managed by YG Entertainment, there's definitely a huge possibility for the two Hallyu stars to work on a drama together. And apparently, Dara and Joo Hyuk themselves are willing to do a rom-com a project with each other.
“Me, it’s Joo Hyuk. I think it’s my first time to work with him. I thought medyo snob siya pero hindi pala. He’s gwapo, pretty nice, friendly,” the 2NE1 singer said during the press con for local clothing brand Penshoppe's FanCon event, revealing who she dreams to work with on a drama.
“He wants to do a rom-com with Sandara, and he’s very confident that he can make her laugh every day,” host Sunny Kim said, translating Nam Joo-Hyuk’s answer in English after the “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Boo-Joo” star was asked the same question.
Dara also said that she hopes to do a rom-com project with Joo-Hyuk since it's her "favorite genre."
“Definitely I wanna do a rom-com kasi that’s my favorite genre. Of course, as an actress, I think ‘yun ‘yung number one na dream role ng mga actresses. What’s funny is we both played a role in a project called Cheese In The Trap. Siya naman sa drama. Ako sa movie version. So sana next time sabay na kami sa isang drama (sic),” she stated.
Fingers crossed, fans are hoping to see a rom-com drama from Dara and Joo-Hyuk in the near future.
