Jed Madela took to Twitter to express his fury after the "pasalubong" items of some of the World Championships of Performing Arts Philippines (WCOPA) delegates were stolen at the airport.
"Yes, we are back home! And we are happy! Except for one thing. Whoever broke into the luggages of our delegates and stole their “pasalubongs” for their families, shame on you," the singer tweeted.
What crushed Jed's heart even more was the fact that the delegates saved their money just to buy the said "pasalubongs."
"These kids barely have enough at tinabi nila pera nila para mabilhan nga pasalubong mga mahal nila sa buhay dito sa Pinas. Tapos nanakawin lang sa airport. Nakakahiya. I don’t know how these people can do such a heartless thing," he posted.
Jed and the WCOPA delegates were back in the Philippines after competing at the recently concluded WCOPA 2018 in Long Beach California, USA. Jed served as one of the coaches of the delegates. Team Philippines brought home 300 medals and trophies from the competition.
