Anne Curtis says it will be a fun celebration of her 21st showbiz anniversary.
In celebration of her 21st anniversary in showbiz, Anne Curtis said she is already busy preparing for her final concert titled AnneKulit. “Sabi ko nga sa Viva siguro naman pagkatapos nito puwede na ako mag-rest ng konti noh? Kasi nag-three movies ako. Binawian ko yung dalawang taon ako hindi nag-movie. Oo last na yun in celebration of 21 years in the industry. Kabaliwan lang, kulitan lang. That’s why I decided to make it ‘Anne-kulit’ kasi kulitan lang siya and it’s really just a celebration of 21 years. So may mga footage from the ‘90s, mga ganyan,” she shared.
With the success of her films this year like Sid and Aya (Not A Love Story) and the action thriller Buy Bust, Anne said she doesn’t mind all the sacrifices she has had to make for her craft. “Sobrang busy ng 2018. Happy ako. I’m not complaining. I’m very, very happy. Especially with all the projects and being able to work with these master directors. Ang galing nga ni God eh. Parang for two years kasi nag-ko-complain ako sa Viva na hindi maganda yung mga dumadating na script kaya ayoko muna mag-shooting and then bigla na lang sabay-sabay sila dumating, sabay-sabay shinoot. Hindi ko lang in-expect na sabay-sabay ipapalabas. Akala ko meron for next year, na it would be spread out, ganyan. Pero wala na sa kamay ko yun eh,” she explained.
After the concert in August, Anne is finally going to go on her honeymoon with husband Erwan Heussaff to an undisclosed location. But when she returns, she will just focus on hosting on TV. “Mag-sho-Showtime pa rin ako. Hindi muna ako mag-mo-movie kasi tatlo yung pinagawa ng Viva eh so ginawa ko naman. Very good girl naman ako sa Viva this year. Feeling ko happy naman si Boss Vic (Del Rosario) so at least next is Metro Manila Film Festival pa pala. At least may pahinga ako until November,” she said.
