Angeline broke into tears when asked about why she chose Mama Bob over her biological mother. She said, “Kung wala po si Mama Bob, siguro wala ring pong Angeline ngayon.

The singer recalled how she first learned that she was adopted when she was six years old. She said, “May kalaro ako na parang nagalit sa akin, tapos bigla lang sinabi niya, 'Hayaan mo na yan, ampon naman ‘yan e.'" She also shared how she felt that time, “Nung time na yon parang biglang lumayo loob ko kay Mama Bob, siguro kasi pag nalaman mong ampon ka, siguro natural na magalit ka kasi hindi mo alam kung saan ka galing.”

It was in year 2012 when Angeline first met her biological mother, after knowing her name Susan. Siguro nakita na mas magiging maganda buhay mo pag binigay kita kay Mama Bob," she said.

In a video greeting, Mama Bob told Angeline, “Angie, mahal na mahal kita.
