The anticipated remake of the Korean film Miss Granny starring James Reid, Sarah Geronimo and Xian Lim will be showing in cinemas on August 22.
In an interview with Push and ABS-CBN News at the Fujifilm X-T100 event, James Reid shared the feeling of excitement and pressure as his upcoming film ‘Miss Granny’ is coming to theaters. “Actually it’s coming out this August 22. So don’t miss it. It’s gonna be really good. I’m excited,” he said.
The young actor also admitted feeling both pressured yet confident their performance in the movie. “I felt a little bit pressured, because it was already a successful film in Korea. But I feel I pulled it off and Sarah (Geronimo) is amazing, and perfect for the role,” he added.
Miss Granny is an original Korean movie that follows the story of an old woman who found herself in the body of her 20-year-old self. In the Filipino remake, the main character will be portrayed by Nova Villa and Sarah Geronimo. The movie is by directed Joyce Bernal and produced by Viva Films.
Meanwhile, Viva also released Miss Granny’s official soundtrack in all digital music stores such as Spotify and Apple Music.
