Will Devaughn admits he would be open to becoming a housemate again.
After joining Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2 more than a decade ago, Will Devaughn said a lot has changed for him. As part of the upcoming action film Kontradiksyon which also stars Jake Cuenca and Kris Bernal, Will said he has also been keeping himself fit in order to keep up with the action sequences in the film. “I just do running now and I focus on Spartan racing which is mostly obstacle course training. Recently I joined a Spartan race elite category and I didn’t know but people from all over the world fly in for the elite category but I was still able to get 28th place out of 164 elite members even with a bum knee. Because I’ve been practicing calisthenics like body weight so I was able to just breeze right through the obstacles. It’s just for myself, to challenge myself,” he shared.
The 35-year-old model-turned-actor also shares that he was able to meet up with fellow celebrity housemate Riza Santos who is now pursuing a career in Hollywood. “Grabe 11 years na noh? Ang bilis ng panahon grabe! Totoo ba? It’s crazy how time flies. I actually saw Riza Santos a few months ago. We reconnected again so that was nice moment. We were able to have dinner and chat and kind of reminisce a little bit. Of course the friendship is still there. It’s all about good energy,” he said.
With the recent announcement of auditions for the new season of Pinoy Big Brother, the former housemate admitted he would definitely consider a second stint inside the house. Will was the fourth big placer during their season. “Wow, magandang tanong yan ah. Siguro depende kung sino ang kasama ko (laughs). It would be super interesting to be able to have an opportunity like that and an experience like that with different housemates from different seasons. Would I do it? I’d definitely think about it,” he said.
