Direk Lauren Dyogi responds to speculations that PBB love teams are scripted

In his new YouTube vlog, ABS-CBN business unit head and director Laurenti Dyogi reacted to speculations that the love teams formed inside the "Pinoy Big Brother" house were scripted. Direk Dyogi pointed out that the housemates came from different backgrounds. As an example, the director pointed out that Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, which became one of the most popular love teams, auditioned in different cities. "Si Kim po nag-audition sa Cebu. Si Gerald sa Manila. Sa totoo lang ha sa panahong iyon, mas marami pang maganda kaysa kay Kim na housemate na pwede rin magustuhan ni Gerald pero ang nangyari, nagkagaanan ng loob eh si Gerald, Kim and Mikee (Lee) at that time," he said. He highlighted that being attracted to someone is actually normal especially in a set-up like PBB. Direk Lauren explained, "Kasi po normal po na 'pag kayo-kayo lang ang magkakasama sa isang lugar 24/7, sa loob ng mahabang panahon, eh normal po tayong tao, may ma pakiramdama po tayo, may magugustuhan at magugustuhan tayo." He added, "So 'yan pong pagkakaroon ng love team sa loob ng bahay o nagkakaroon ng kagustuhan sa isa't isa eh 'yan po ay dahil sa set-up po ng Big Brother sa Pilipinas at sa buong mundo. At dahil sila-sila lang din ang nagkikita eh sa malamang at malamang, normal po silang tao, may pakiramdam po sila, pwede po silang magkagustuhan."
