British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who is best known for his role as Doctor Strange in the Marvel film of the same name, earned praises after saving a delivery man from being attacked by four men.

Identified as an employee of British online food delivery company Deliveroo, the cyclist was saved by Cumberbatch after the actor jumped out of his Uber ride whom he was sharing with his wife Sophie Hunter at that time according to The Sun.

"Leave him alone," Cumberbatch yelled as the four men attacked the deliveryman according to witnesses who saw the incident.

“The cyclist was lucky, Benedict’s a superhero,” said the Uber driver, who also helped in the incident.

Witnesses also claimed that the alleged robbers tried to punch Benedict Cumberbatch but he was able to avoid getting hit. The men eventually fled from the scene.
