Pia Wurtzbach also talks about acting onscreen with boyfriend Marlon Stockinger.
After being part of last year’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry The Revengers Squad and starring in the movie My Perfect You earlier this year, Pia Wurtzbach said she is preparing for more exciting projects with the Kapamilya network. “We are planning some things with ABS-CBN but I can’t reveal them yet. They’re very exciting. May show, may movie, pero diyan lang muna i-si-share ko. For now it’s really in the works so I don’t want to jinx anything also for now but it’s very exciting. As soon as we’re all ready we’re going to share it with everyone and I am excited. We’re still planning everything and I want to wait for ABS-CBN’s go signal before I can share anything. But definitely I’m really happy with ABS-CBN. They’ve been taking good care of me and really planning out my career for the next year,” she said during the Blue Water Day Spa event held last June 19 in Ortigas.
After being paired with Gerald Anderson, Pia said she is not going to be picky about who will be her next onscreen partner in her next movie and television projects. “Hindi ko naisip yung leading man. Ang iniisip ko yung magiging role ko, yung challenge sa akin eh. I think I want to focus on that so I can hone my acting skills. So instead of a love team I want to try something different. Basta secret! But you guys will all love it,” she explained.
With her boyfriend Marlon Stockinger becoming more and more visible in showbiz, Pia said it could still be possible to work with him in front of the camera again after his surprise cameo during the ending of the The Revengers Squad. “If the project is there and the story is nice, the roles are nice, why not? Although I have more fun with Marlon in real life than on screen. So I think I like our real-life chemistry better than what we would try to show on TV,” she said.
Since getting together a year and a half ago, Pia said her relationship with Marlon is going very well. “He’s very Swiss, taking his time getting ready and sleeping. But he doesn’t get late so that’s good. We’re both very competitive, he’s a race car driver so innate na competitive. It works in our favor. But I’m crazier than him because I feel like I come up with most of the jokes (laughs),” she added.
