Nadine Lustre talks about how she would feel if James Reid gets a new love team partner.
Fresh from her Revolution concert tour in the US with James Reid, singer-actress Nadine Lustre said she is always happy to meet fans outside the Philippines. “Sobrang saya. Ang tagal naming hindi nakita yung mga Jadines na nanuod sa amin last time and it was a different show. This time kasi kasama namin si Bret (Jackson) so it’s a first for him to be able to go with us and tour the States. So ang saya. We had vacation and work at the same time so relaxed naman siya,” she shared during her Samsung Galaxy J6 event held last June 16 in Pasay city.
The successful concert tour is rumored to get a second run in Manila later this year with Nadine admitting she still needs to confirm with her management the final details she can share. “I’m not sure. From what I heard there’s a repeat nga din but we’ll see. Ako I don’t know what I’m going to announce but we’ll see. Ako I’m really excited for that also,” she said.
The 24-year-old Viva artist credits her fans for the success she is enjoying in her career at present. That is why she puts value in their opinions and reactions when it comes to what happens in Jadine’s career. “At the end of the day, they are the fans and they are the ones supporting us and putting us to a higher level. Sila yung naglalagay sa amin sa pedestal so they only think of what’s good for us. They love us so much. That’s why they’re always like, if they think that things are not okay, siyempre mag-re-react sila kasi they only think about us. Of course the management listens to them naman. Ganun naman talaga. Kailangan makikinig ka din on what other people think. Mga opinions din naman yun siyempre,” she explained.
With regards to James Reid admitting that he does not want to be paired with another partner onscreen, Nadine gave a diplomatic answer. “Wow, okay (laughs). Bahala siya. Wala akong update eh. It’s really up to them naman if they’re going to put a new love team. For me, it’s just work sa anong makakapagpabuti para sa project. I mean I trust Viva naman and of course it’s for the good of the film naman. Okay lang sa akin. Wala naman akong issue sa ganun,” she said.
