Former Pinoy Boyband Superstar contestant Mark Oblea may have failed to make it to the Top 5 of the reality singing search, which jumpstarted the career of what is now known as BoybandPH, but he sure is happy and fulfilled with where is at this point of his career as a solo artist.
During a bloggers' conference held at the Universal Records office, the 23-year-old artist has nothing but gratitude for the singing search that paved the way for greater opportunities in his career.
"Siguro masasabi ko I'm happy with my career - kung ano 'yung mga dumarating, 'yung mga pinagdadadaanan ko ngayon. Siguro tinadhana talaga ako as a solo artist kaya happy rin ako sa mga winners kasi alam ko naman na deserving sila, na may kanya-kanya silang talent na mai-ooffer," he firmly stated, dismissing any form of bitterness or whatsoever for being unable to be part of BoybandPH.
With a series of projects coming his way including the successful release of his debut single "Langit 'Pag Nandiyan" and becoming one of the artists who will sing the official soundtrack of the upcoming indie film "Bakwit Boys", Mark Oblea is sure to win the hearts of his fans.
With that said, Mark was asked by one of the bloggers if he has ever received any indecent proposals since he started out in the industry to which he replied, "Yeah, nag-propose oo. Pinakamatindi ano 'yun eh half mil (P500,000)."
Mark Oblea is also set to star in the upcoming Julia Barretto-starrer "Nostalgia."
