As the star of the Regal Films Mother’s Day offering My 2 Mommies, Paolo Ballesteros said it will be a movie that can be enjoyed by everyone in the family. “I think it will be very relatable to everyone, not just my character but all of the characters actually kasi nangyayari naman sa atin yun eh, yung mga modern family situation. We were very happy sa set and yan yung hope namin na sana maging maganda rin siya maipalabas. Yung shooting namin parang isang buong pamilya kasi kilala mo lahat, pati mga camera man ka-chokaran mo lahat. So yung pagsasama namin maganda,” he shared during the My 2 Mommies blogcon held last May 4 in Quezon City.

As a father, Paolo said he tries his best to create a relationship with his daughter Keira Claire who lives with her mom in Baguio city. “Well ang gusto ko sana magkasama kami, we’ll live in the same house. But yun nga, may mga circumstances na hindi ko naman mapipigilan or hindi ko mahawakan, ganun. So I guess I just make the most out of what we have na she stays in Baguio with her mom of course. But when may oras, may time, I can visit her and she can go to my house and stay with me. Pero whenever there’s holidays and long weekends na wala silang pasok umuuwi naman sila sa akin,” he shared.

The 35-year-old actor said that even if he and Keira’s mom are not in a relationship anymore, he wants his daughter to feel his love. I guess yung love na yun na na-experience natin, that’s what we want to give back to our kid. I guess merong mga circumstance na hindi mo magagawa yun for example magkalayo kayo. But then again yung magkaroon kayo ng time together, you make sure na maipakita mo at maiparamdam mo sa kanya yung pagmamahal na yun,” he explained.

When asked if he was considering having more kids in the future, Paolo immediately replied, “Tama na, ang ganda na ng anak ko eh (laughs). Okay na yun!”
