Even after having starred in movies like My Fairy Tail Love Story, Bloody Crayons, and Haunted Mansion, Janella Salvador explained why she is most excited about her current Regal Films project So Connected. “I know many movies claim to be different but I really know this movie, it really is something else because it’s real, it’s very unpredictable. It’s not your typical na alam mo na kung ano ang magiging ending or alam mo na kung anong mangyayari. Sobrang totoo at marami kang matututunan talaga. It’s going to warm your heart. You’ll get out of the cinema na mapapaisip ka talaga na, ‘Oo nga noh, possible pala yun!’ Madami kayong ma-le-learn kung paano na ngayon nowadays,” she said.
The movie also pairs Janella with Hashtags member Jameson Blake for the very first time. “I feel like we all had different connections to each other like with Jameson kasi we really had to talk to each other and bilang during the shoot, while we were on the set, we really have to give a connection. And the others, even if I didn’t get to work with them I was able to talk with them off camera. Iba din yung connection ko with them. Si Jameson he’s very nice, he’s a gentleman, and kapag makipag-usap ka sa kanya may sense. Hindi yung wala lang. May sense siya kausap talaga so I enjoy talking to him. We can have conversations talaga,” she shared.
When she first found out about her new leading man, Janella admitted she was careful about accepting the project. “At first siyempre I was not sure. To be honest I wasn’t sure talaga. Kasi they didn’t tell me rin kung sino yung makakatrabaho ko, sabi lang nila sa akin it was going to be with someone else and nung nalaman ko na it’s director Jason Paul (Laxamana), I’ve heard good things about him both when he writes and when he directs and nung nabasa ko talaga yung script, it was a beautiful story and that’s what sold me talaga,” she said.
