A little over a year since Claudia Barretto signed as a recording artist under Universal Records, the daughter of showbiz royalties Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla has officially cemented a name for herself in the local music scene with the launch of her self-titled debut EP.
Admitting that she's taking up voice lessons to become the best version of herself, Claudia is now ready to embark on another journey in her career as an artist by flying to the US to pursue music production.
"I'm getting into vocal coaching. I think it helps with the confidence because I'm very shy like I said and I think vocal coaching will help me to become just more confident," she said during the listening party for her EP.
"In terms of making music, this summer I'm actually going to LA to learn the basics in music production so I can start getting more creatively involved in projects," she added.
Apart from her five-track EP, the 18-year-old rising teen artist will also be part of an upcoming major concert featuring the new breed Cornerstone Artists this October.
