As part of Kapamilya series Asintado, Paulo Avelino admitted he really has to make an effort to squeeze in some workout time everyday.  “I wake up. I shower. I go to work and start shooting. Ayun na hanggang matapos then repeat (laughs). Nowadays ang hirap talaga mag-gym. I could go if I have long breaks during shoots pero ngayon kasi wala, halos every scene kasama ako so from start to end you’re there. Minsan I try to make it singit during lunch and dinner breaks, push-ups and sit-ups or when I get to have a long break or a day off work, I try to hit the gym and run naman for my heart,” he shared.

The 29-year-old actor shared that he has actually gotten minor bruises and scratches while shooting the historical film Goyo which has only encouraged him to work even harder at his latest project. “Maraming bagay ang nag-mo-motivate sa akin pero probably one thing that motivates me to go to work is for me to actually finish a project or a film. Finishing a film kasi iba yung fulfillment,” he explained.

As one of the the actors with the most enviable bodies in showbiz, Paulo shared some tips on how to get an ideal summer body like him. “I think it’s very important to work out and exercise but another thing that people forget to consider is a proper balanced diet and nutrition. There’s a saying that six-packs are made in the kitchen and I kind of believe it’s true,” he said.

Even though he has yet to confirm his current dating status, Paulo claimed he has yet to find out the true meaning of love. “I can’t eh. I can’t define it I can only give it (laughs),” he added.
