Anne Curtis shared that she and her husband Erwan Heussaff are not yet planning to have an offspring at the moment. The actress also remarked that she is not feeling pressured to have one anytime soon. “Sa ngayon hindi pa pero you know if God gives it at the right time then isa siyang blessing di ba? Pero hindi naman napre-pressure, hindi naman,” she said in an interview at the “Pinoy Komiks Heroes Battle” app launching at the ABS-CBN compound.
She added, “I don’t think that’s something you should put a timeline to or else you just pressure your own body, di ba? Parang hindi siya something na dapat pag-usapan kasi baka ma-jinx.” If ever they will be blessed with a child, Anne said that it won’t matter if it is a boy or a girl as long as the baby is healthy.
Anne has been investing on various businesses and she said that it is part of her preparations before they build their family. “Siyempre kasama lahat 'yan. Siyempre kasama ‘yun. You have to prepare, di ba? When you decide to become a mom or have a family, hindi ka lang mentally stable, you’re also financially stable, kasama ‘yan lahat. And I think it comes with age na rin na instead of buying new shoes, new clothes, iniisip mo saan pwede ka mag-invest. Hopefully I’m able to inspire also na huwag matakot to join different businesses,” she stated.
The actress was also asked about the rumors that she will be playing Valentina in the upcoming Darna movie. “May rumors talaga na umiikot although hindi naman umaabot sa akin,” she said. Is she open to play the character should it be offered to her? “Of course, oo of course, siyempre naman, iconic ‘yun pero, hindi po talaga,” she replied.
