Ryan Bang has no regrets turning down a career in Korea: ‘Malaking offer sa akin ng SBS’

After starting out in showbiz eight years ago via the reality show Pinoy Big Brother, Ryan Bang admitted he never expected that he would end up in showbiz much less star in his own Star Cinema movie. After starting out doing mostly sidekick roles, he is finally getting top billing in the upcoming horror comedy Da One That Ghost Away. Kaya binigay ko dito sa movie ang 150%,” he shared during the DOTGA grand media launch held last April 12 inside the ABS-CBN compound.

The movie came at a good time for Ryan because he had just passed up an offer to finally start a showbiz career in Korea.

In DOTGA, Ryan plays the role of Kim Chiu’s best friend Jeje. Abangan niyo kung anong mangyayari, baka may kissing scene, baka may ano (laughs),” he said.

In the movie which also stars Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Enzo Pineda, Moi Bien, Chokoleit, Lassy, Pepe Herrera, and Odette Khan, Ryan said there was no superstar attitude. Si Kim yung pinakabida namin,” he said.
