After her teleserye Ikaw Lang ang Iibigin ended early this year, Kim Chiu said she got to enjoy a short break before starting her next movie project with Star Cinema. In between that, she still tries to participate in races and duathlons as well as taking Muay Thai lessons. "You do what you love doing. I love sports and I love my friends so it all makes me happy finding the time to do all of the things I like," she shared during the Berocca press conference held last March 6 in Taguig city.
Last month, the athletic actress got her fans worried when she fell during a production number on ASAP. "Medyo lapitin ako ngayon, pero once pa lang naman this year, last year once lang din so once a year (laughs). Hindi naman grabe, nagkaroon lang ng misunderstanding between Enzo (Pineda) and Arron (Villaflor) kung iaangat nila yung glass or hindi. So yung isa umangat yung isa hindi kaya na-out-of-balance. Pero never pa naman ako na-injure sa ASAP," she explained.
The Berocca celebrity ambassador handled the mishap well and finished the number without missing a beat. "Sabi nga nila the show must go on so smile ka na lang tapos after that saka ka na lang ngumawa kung maiiyak ka or something. Wala naman kasing nauntog or something kasi mag-sa-slide lang dapat ako. Ang nangyari nagkaroon ng break so hindi naman siya intense. Wala namang bagok," she said.
After the show, Kim admitted she couldn't resist watching the video to see what really happened and not to put blame on anyone. "Pinanuod ko kung sino talaga may kasalanan (laughs). Siyempre wala (may kasalanan). It's a performance and wala namang dapat sisihin dun kasi hindi naman ako na-ospital or hindi naman ako namatay so wala namang dapat ikagalit. Wala kasi it really happens sa live show. Hindi mo maiiwasan minsan nga may nahulog sa stage. Yung sa akin kita niyo pa rin naman ako ‘di ba? Tumayo pa rin naman ako. Bawi naman so okay lang," she explained.
