Contrary to speculations, Nash Aguas underscored that he and his co-stars are all giving the same amount of effort in breathing life to their characters in the trending primetime soap The Good Son.
Nash, Joshua Garcia, Jerome Ponce, and McCoy de Leon are the actors who play the four sons in the soap who are trying to prove their innocence in the case of their father’s apparent murder.
However, some months back, Nash’s stellar performance made him one of the most-talked about topics on social media, so much so that his name even trended on Twitter. https://push.abs-cbn.com/2017/12/28/fresh-scoops/nash-aguas-praised-for-his-performance-on-the-go-173873
Nash, in a previous interview, reiterated that he never really expected for his performance on the show to be noticed.
Meanwhile, in an interview during the recent finale press conference of their soap, Nash shrugged off comments that he’s far more advanced acting-wise than the three other young men on the soap.
“Hindi naman po. Actually kasi nakikita ko naman na binibigay rin nila, actually lahat kami sa kung papaano ko gagawin yung eksena or kung papaano niya gagawin yung eksena,” he said. “Kumbaga group effort rin siya.”
Since they are all giving their best, Nash refused to claim sole credit for the show’s success.
“So hindi lang ako, lahat kami binibigay namin ang best namin,” he said.
In fact, he has one person in mind whom he wants to commend the most.
“And nakikita ko rin si Jerome na nag-e-effort siya. Kumbaga from the start nung una ko siyang nakilala parang wala siyang pakialam,” he started.
Nash added, “Pero nakita ko ang improvement niya na naging passionate at dedicated na siya sa work. Kumbaga proud ako actually sa kanya.”
Nash plays the role of Calvin, the schizophrenic son who’s battling not only his personal demons but even the conflicts and issues surrounding his character and his character’s family.
The Good Son starring Nash Aguas, along with Joshua Garcia, Jerome Ponce and McCoy de Leon, is set to have the show finale soon.
