KC Concepcion finally made something out of her love for jewelries and that was making her own jewelry line “Avec Moi.” She first shared on social media how her love for jewelries developed and how she prepared for the designs for a year.
“The women in my family taught me, by example, to love and appreciate fine jewelry. I remember how my grandmother would get upset if I’d go out in public with bare ears- I never liked wearing earrings! She and my mother encouraged me to draw what I would wear, and would then ask their personal jewelers to create them. It began with my name, then fairies, then eventually fireflies, even going on to labeling my debut invites and giveaways with my signature butterfly symbol. It felt like magic to design my own necklaces, earrings, and rings in diamonds (my birthstone) and white gold, for personal use. I began to love fine jewelry,” she shared in one of her posts.
In another post, KC said that this is her first time designing “anything precious to sell” and it felt “nerve-wracking.”
KC successfully launched her jewelry line yesterday, March 20, and she fondly recalled her late grandmother Elaine Cuneta.
“Remembering my grandma Elaine on this day. She was the first to impart her love of jewelry, beauty & design to me.”
"Avec Moi" just made 26 pieces for the launch that was immediately sold out. KC’s family has been supportive of her new career.
