KC Concepcion posted her experience of sharing food with the kids of Marawi on Instagram.
She shared her photos and videos with smiling kids, saying how valuable this trip was for her and how she admires the kids for choosing to be happy amidst problems.
"Some of our problems are nothing compared to what these people have gone through. And yet, they choose to be happy. Keep your circle positive and always choose to be happy," she wrote.
KC, along with Chef Tony Boy Escalante and the World Food Programme, came to Marawi to help bring food and nutrition to kids affected by the past war.
These trips are so valuable to me- the people I meet and come in close contact with up in the mountains make me realize how ONE PERSON can impact you in more ways than you can imagine. Also, some of our problems are NOTHING compared to what these people have gone through. And yet, they choose to be happy. Keep your circle positive and always CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY. 💙 || Thank you @worldfoodprogramme_official for the work that you do & allowing me to bring my dear friend, the generous & passionate Chef Tony Boy Escalante, as our guest. #UnitedNations #WFP #Survivors #BattleofMarawi #Kacepirations || Swipe xx
