Eddie Gutierrez celebrated his 76th birthday on Tuesday, February 6, and members of the Gutierrez clan gave their sweet and heartfelt messages for the veteran actor.

Ruffa Gutierrez posted a throwback photo of their family in 1986 when they moved back to the Philippines from the US.

Thank you Dad for all that you’ve done for our family. For working hard, for putting food on the table, for sending us to the best schools. For being the loving, caring, compassionate human being that you are. We love you, Dad and we honor you on your special day!” Ruffa wrote.

His son Richard also posted an early photo of Eddie with the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.

“Thank you for leading by example and always reminding us that money is not the most important thing in the world, it’s about living and experiencing life, doing good along the way and cherishing your loved ones,” Richard said.

Granddaughters Lorin Gutierrez Bektas and actress Janine Gutierrez also posted messages for their lolo Eddie on Instagram.
