Thai singer ToR Saksit has collaborated with Maja Salvador for the single “Falling Into You.” Tor will be touring in the Philippines for a couple of days and will be singing at various mall shows with the Wildflower star. The Thai singer remarked that he is elated to perform for the Pinoy audience especially at the mall shows.
“I heard that every time Maja goes out to mall shows and stuff, people are all excited just to see her and that’s one thing I would like to enjoy with her at the mall show and I think the part where we jam when we are going to sing together is gonna be a different feeling. On that part, I think she’s excited with that as well,” ToR said.
The singer stated that he is happy that Southeast Asian singers are now collaborating more when it comes to music. “I think the world of music is getting smaller and it’s easier to connect and I think it’s a good thing that Southeast Asian countries are joining to create a big Southeast Asian culture here because I think we have strong artists from each country and I think we are reuniting in this part of Asia. I think it’s good for people in Thailand, I think it’s good for people in the Philippines, to get to know more artists,” he said.
When asked to compare the entertainment industry here and Thailand, ToR said both are very identical. “A lot of actors are crossing over to the music industry. There are a lot of music artists who are crossing over to acting as well. I think it feels like home here. For me it’s not much different, it’s the same,” he relayed.
ToR hopes that their song “Falling Into You” will be part of the Filipinos’ Valentine’s Day. “I hope if you love somebody, if you are planning to tell somebody, this song is a great way to express your love for them. Let them hear it. I think love is a big part of life. I think being able to fall into someone that’s what makes life meaningful every day,” he said.
