By now, it’s no surprise that Kim Chiu is well-spoken in Bisaya as she spent her formative years in her hometown, Cebu City.What’s amazing is that the One Great Love leading lady is also eloquent in Waray, the native language of Tacloban where she was born, and Mandarin, the spoken language of the Chinese to which she culturally identifies.This, after Kim proved herself well as a multilingual translator in StarStudio’s Translation Challenge, wherein she had to translate different English phrases to Bisaya, Waray, and Mandarin. It also stars her new leading men Dennis Trillo and JC de Vera on December 25 in cinemas nationwide.
