Kim Chiu on how it felt being nominated for MMFF Best Actress: ‘Iba pala yung pakiramdam’

After her nomination for Best Actress in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in One Great Love, Kim Chiu admitted she had no expectations and just hoped everyone enjoys watching their movie.

Even though it was not her first time to be nominated in the MMFF, Kim said she will always think of it as an unforgettable experience. “Ay grabe yun. Maging nominado ang sobrang saya na ako. Dati nung na-nominate din ako sa All You Need is Pag-Ibig supporting actress, iba pala yung pakiramdam na ganun, na ma-nominate ka at ma-appreciate ka. Wala, ayokong umaasa. Ang hirap umasa lalo na sa pagmamahal. May mga ganun. So ayoko talaga. Gusto ko lang mapanuod nila yung pelikula at masabi nila pagkatapos na, ‘Ay iba nga si Kim.’ yung ganun lang,” she said.
