The Miss Universe 2018 fever is still very much alive in the country after Catriona Gray was crowned as this year's winner on Monday, December 17. But while the Miss Universe organization just concluded its recent pageant, it seems that it has already been preparing for its next year’s event.
According to businessman and former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis "Chavit" Singson, the Miss Universe organization has already secured a venue in South Korea for the next pageant. He also shared that he helped the organization to get the place.
"Dati na akong tumutulong kasi sa Miss Universe, mula noong ako'y nag-sponsor, taon-taon tumutulong ako sa kanila. Kaya sa Bangkok ginawa, nakatulong din ako. Saka next year, na-arrange ko na, sa South Korea, at sasama ang North Korea, kaya maganda ang exposure ni Catriona 'pag tinurn-over na, itu-turn over niya sa next Miss Universe, doon ko gagawin sa South Korea," Chavit said in an interview with DZMM.
Chavit arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday, December 19, via private jet at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
