However, doctors still have to treat her lungs with great care.
After having to stay in the Intensive Care Unit (UCI) of a hospital for a while, Sarah Lahbati’s mother, Esther Lahbati, has finally moved to a normal room for recovery, confirmed the actress in an Instagram update earlier this Thursday.
This, after Esther figured in an a drowning accident in Siargao last Tuesday, where she and her husband, Abdel Lahbati, were taking a vacation at the time.
Sarah made the announcement through her Instagram Stories when she asked for help from her friends and fans in Siargao to assist her ill mother. She said that she couldn’t attend to Esther because there was no available flight on that day, forcing her to wait until Wednesday to fly straight to the island.

“Praise God. My mom has just been transferred from the ICU to a normal room. Her oxygen levels have stabilized and she is feeling better and slowly recovering,” said Sarah.
However, she said that doctors still have to keep a close eye on her mother’s lungs.
“Her lungs are still being treated carefully. I’m so relieved to see her smile and laugh with the kids. Grateful to all of you for the prayers. Let’s continue to pray for her speedy recovery,” said the actress.
