The actress said she’s excited to finally experience her dream of doing the graduation march.
In three months’ time, Yasmien Kurdi will put on a cap and gown and march towards the stage to receive her hard-earned diploma at last – something that she, just like everyone, has dreamed of for herself ever since she was young.
The actress confirmed the good news in an Instagram post after just having passed her thesis. “Sa tinagal tagal ko sa kolehiyo, sa lahat ng hirap, puyat na pinagdaanan ko sa buhay para lang makapag-aral habang nagtatrabaho para itaguyod ang aking pamilya, sa dami ng nakuha kong units, sa mga kurso na parang nakapag Masteral na ako… Finally malapit na ko [grumaduate],” shared Yasmien, who couldn’t hide her excitement for this huge milestone in her life.
“Sobrang excited na talaga ako ‘pag naiisip ko na malapit na ‘ko mag-[martsa] at matutupad na ang matagal ng pinapangarap ko at ng aking nanay,” wrote the 29-year-old star of her upcoming graduation.
As she went on, Yasmien also thanked her professors who have been instrumental in her journey as a college student. “Maraming salamat Sir Ariel Bautista sa pag gabay samin sa thesis. Salamat sa mahabang pasensya niyo po sa amin. Hehe. Thank you, Sir Bless and Adrian, kahit anong gisa sa amin ng panel, hindi ako susuko. Ngayon pa ba? ‘Pag pasensyahan niyo na. masaya lang talaga ako,” said the StarStruck finalist.
Yasmien is currently enrolled in Arellano University and is set to graduate in March 2019.
