James Reid opened Khalid's sold-out show at the Big Dome.
For the first time ever, Khalid finally set foot in Manila to perform for his Pinoy fans and sing his hits from his debut album American Teen for which he received a Double Platinum Award in the Philippines before the show.
Thanking the jam-packed Pinoy crowd for being the "loudest night so far" since he started hitting the road for his Asian tour, Khalid couldn't help but feel emotional over the warm welcome that he received from his Pinoy fans.
"I just want to let you know guys that you are the loudest night so far. By far. I would like to thank you for all the love and making me feel as if I live here," he said before a jam-packed crowd.
Unknown to many, Khalid is close friends with former America's Next Top Model contestant and Fil-Am model Justine Biticon who introduced him among many things to a local fast food chain.

Meanwhile, James Reid, along with the artists from his label Careless Music Manila, opened the show and perform the songs from the first mixtape that they produced.
It wasn't clear though as to why Nadine Lustre, who was supposed to join James on stage, wasn't able to perform at the concert.
A meet and greet photo with Khalid at the Araneta Coliseum suggests that she also watched the show
