Ai-Ai delas Alas shares thoughts on her fake friends after being hospitalized

<p>Ai-Ai delas Alas took to social media to share her realizations about friendship after being hospitalized and receiving fewer well-wishes compared to how things used to be a few years back. On Instagram, the comedienne shared the quote saying "Fake friends are like shadows. They follow you in the sun but leave you in the dark."</p><p>She then recounted how she used to have more friends when she was still a blockbuster star. </p><p>"<em>Naalala ko and natatawa ako sa buhay</em>... After ‘<em>Tanging Ina</em>’ (thank you, Star Cinema), <em>pag na </em>hospitalize <em>ako noon — kasi madalas ako hikain — grabe punong-puno ang</em> room <em>ko ng</em> flowers and fruits, <em>parang sumakabilang buhay na ako. Ngayon, bilang mo na lang</em> [<em>ang</em>] <em>mga totoong nagmamahal, ang nagpapadala ng </em>flowers," she said.</p><p>She stressed that she is not complaining but she just finds it funny that things are different now.  "<em>Hindi ako nagrereklamo. Na-realize ko lang ang buhay ay nakakatawa.
