EXCLUSIVE: Judy Ann Santos shares her thoughts before marriage: 'My God, manganganak pa ba ako?'

When her husband Ryan Agoncillo recently posting online a sweet throwback to the days when they were still boyfriend and girlfriend over a decade ago, Judy Ann Santos said she has always appreciated every sweet gesture. “Si Ryan naman he never fails to put that kilig sa relationship namin. Napaka-vocal niya kasi sa ganyan and whenever he talks about it or he posts something about me, alam mo yung may simple smile yung puso mo na naaalala niya yun. I think in a relationship it’s very, very important that once in a while, you go back to your ligawan days and reminisce all these things,” she shares during a recent Eden cheese cooking event held last November 22 in Makati City. Juday says that it’s important to her and her husband that their children know about their own love story. She revealed their family life also has its own challenges but they always work through it together. “We want our children to know what really happened. Parang ini-involve niyo rin sila sa kuwento niyong dalawa and there’s a validation eh. As a wife, it validates that the love you have for each other just keeps on growing and growing. Yes we encounter challenges naman. Not on a daily basis but as husband and wife hindi naman nawawala yung mga ganyang issues,” she told PUSH. During the year her husband proposed, Juday admitted she had no idea when he was planning to pop the question but was already waiting for him to do it. “Wala pa but I was hoping he would because siyempre pag babae ka you’re after na yung age mo, yung iisipin mo, ‘My God, manganganak pa ba ako?’” she recalled.During the Eden event, Juday couldn’t help but share some sage advice for other women who are experiencing the same feelings she had before getting engaged. “Ang advice ko lang sa mga babaeng nagmamadali na may boyfriend na ng ganyang edad, huwag na huwag niyong tatanungin kung mag-po-propose sila (laughs). It just takes out the romance and everything. Siyempre nalaman ko na lang yan nung nag-propose na siya sa akin there was a time kasi na may sinabi ako sa kanya tapos sabi niya, ‘Ano ba, nauudlot’ or prini-pre-empt ko daw. Sabi ko, ‘Malay ko naman ano, tatlong taon na tayo, parang wala ka pang plano (laughs).’ So intay-intay lang. If he’s the right one, he’s the right one,” she added.
