<p>Sa panayam kay Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) chairperson Rachel Arenas ng DZMM nitong Lunes, November 19, sinabi nitong wala sa kanilang kakayahan bilang ahensya na mapatigil sa pag-ere ang <a href='https://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/angprobinsyano/main'><strong><em><u>FPJ's Ang Probinsyano</u></em></strong></a> dahil lamang sa sinasabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na di magandang pagsasalawaran sa mga pulis sa TV show. </p><p>"Wala po sa poder namin yan, sunod-sunod naman po yung ano namin, since 2016 pa ang dialogue namin with them," bungad ng MTRCB Chief. </p><p>"Nasabi rin naman po namin, kasi kaming MTRCB, hindi kami nagse-censor ... We cannot also prohibit negative depictions kasi we are sort of a bridge doon sa constitutionally protected freedom of expression, and also the right of the state to regulate," paliwanag pa niya. </p><p>Ibinahagi din ni Rachel ang obserbasyon ng ahensya sa episodes ng Ang Probinsyano.  "Kailangang may redeeming factor o magandang value na napupulot ang mga manonood.
