Arjo and Maine have been recently spotted together in restaurants, concerts, and other events. Ria then admitted in an interview with ABS-CBN News that she is more affected by the bashing Arjo gets than he does.
“What I admire about my brother… Sometimes ako, I’m more, like, ‘Oh my god, I want to reply already’, and he says, ‘You know what, Ria, don’t mind them. We know the truth, we know what’s going on, we don’t have to give them that much.’
“I have to be strong… Because I care so much. I always overthink. I always over analyze, that’s why I’m always so affected. Him naman, he’s very carefree,” she added.
When asked about her brother’s status, Ria simply said, “I think he’s handling everything very well. He’s happy naman with everything. I guess that’s all I can say — he’s happy. He’s at a point where he’s happy and I’m really happy to see him happy.”
“That’s all I can share! He will share someday. That’s for him. I keep telling him, when he’s ready, he should be the one also,” she added.
Maine, who is currently single, rose to fame as Yaya Dub on the noontime show Eat Bulaga! in 2015. She became the other half of the popular love team “AlDub” with Alden Richards as her partner. Arjo, on the other hand, followed his mother Sylvia Sanchez’s footsteps and made his own name as a talented actor.
