TV host and now a mother of two Bianca Gonzalez gets candid about the highs and lows of being a parent in a recent Instagram post.
There’s rarely a talk among celebrities about the harsh realities of becoming a parent, which is exactly why Bianca Gonzalez, now a mother to two daughters, deemed it important to start a conversation.
Yesterday, November 10, the TV host revealed having gotten emotional following a row between her and her firstborn Lucia. “Yesterday was one of those days. I lost my s#i+ and screamed at my toddler when she was being difficult. I cried. Then she cried. We were both crying then my newborn cried because she was hungry and it was time to feed,” wrote Bianca in an Instagram post.
Later that day, Lucia took her mother by surprise after approaching her, then instantly warming Bianca’s heart. “I was going to take my selfie to document this memory and my puffy eyes as a reminder to stay patient. My toddler saw me, and seemingly aware of what she did wrong, joined me for the picture to try and make me smile,” shared the 35-year-old star with regard to the photo she just uploaded.
Such instance led Bianca, who recently just gave birth to her second child Carmen, to get real about the highs and lows of being a mother. “I felt terrible. But it was only 5:30PM and I still had the rest of the day to deal with. And that night she was still so clingy to me, up ‘til bedtime. Mommy life is [weary face emoji] and [heart eyes emoji]! God bless all mothers!
“To end: This is just to balance the motherhood stories we see online. It’s not all picture perfect, it’s also a lot of messy, stressful days. All part of the journey,” concluded the celebrity to her over 2 million followers.
Meanwhile, fellow celebrity parents who can relate to her story were quick to offer their support, including Saab Magalona and Iya Villania, among others.
