Alex also thanked those who keep on supporting the content that she puts out the Internet.
Alex Gonzaga apologized to a netizen on Twitter after getting called out for allegedly throwing 'annoying and insensitive' jokes at a place in Cubao where communities of artists usually dine and hang out.
“To some people who find my humor annoying and insensitive, sorry. How I wish you may never see or click any of my videos again,” she said in a now-deleted tweet.
Alex also thanked the basher who goes by @jerichorayel on Twitter, for calling her out and opening about what he felt, adding: “kasi sobra na galit mo at tinag pa ako.”
While Alex did apologize for what she did, she also thanked everybody else who keep on supporting the content that she puts out online. “Pero sa mga natuwa, tuloy tayo," she continued.
Alex also revealed that she already talked things through with the guy and promised to "do better next time."
“I’ve been messaging the guy who tagged me sa DMs kagabi pa. We have good conversation explainning our sides,” she wrote in one tweet.
“Hi to d non-netizens. Im sorry. I’ll be better next time,” she said in another tweet.
In the video, which Alex did for a famous soda brand, Alex asked a group of people who hung out at the place to undergo "drug tests" with her. Though she did directly say or presume that the people in the place were taking illegal substances, some netizens think that the celebrity vlogger was implying otherwise based on her jokes.
“This is a clip of the Cubao Expo vlog of Alex Gonzaga. This is so insensitive on so many levels especially now that the government is out there killing people tagged as drug users. Second, hindi siya funny. Hindi nakakatawang pagbintangan kang adik," the netizen wrote.
