Sarah Geronimo gave an important message on peace and unity regardless of cultural differences in her recent appearance in Tokyo.
At the recent ASEAN-Japan Music Festival thathappened in Tokyo last October 4, Philippines' representative Sarah Geronimo gave an inspiring speech about peace and unity despite of cultural differences. In a captured clip, uploaded on Instagram, Sarah started her speech by giving thanks to the organizers of such event for bringing together various artists from different countries.

“I want to take this opportunit to thank the ASEAN Ambassador, Mr. Zugi, and of course Japan, for organizing this event. And for gathering us artists from South East Asia, to promote peace and unity.” she said
The 30-year old singer talked about how music can promote unity among the people in Asia. “Music knows no boundaries, it doesn’t matter where you come from, or what language you speak. Because music has its magical way of connecting to each persons’ heart and soul.
“I pray for a world that has more respect for each other’s culture and differences. A world that is more passionate ans united in helping one another,” Sarah shared.
Sarah's performance at the said international music festival also went viral early this month.
