“My favorite drink is actually gin and tonic,” shares Pia Wurtzbach. The Pia Drink, as she playfully calls it, is actually something that her best friend mixed for her. “I like to add juniper berries, strawberries, and peppercorn.” Her flavor of choice is reflective of who she is. “With my personality, it’s a little sweet and a little spicy,” said Pia.Crowned Miss Universe in 2015, Pia has definitely brought pride to the nation. What continues to endear her to people is her positive outlook and “never say die” attitude. “I want to continue to make all of you proud,” she said.Her journey to the crown wasn’t an easy one, but she was able to achieve her dreams. Yet, there is still so much more than the crown. “That’s not the end of my story. Meron pa akong mga ish-share sa inyo,” she promised. “Abangan niyo nalang!”She has added another achievement to her list as she was just launched as #GinebraGirl2019, the new calendar girl of the renowned liquor brand. The 2019 Ginebra San Miguel calendars feature a hot and sexy Pia with all their premium drinks.“Sexy is confidence. It’s about feeling good about yourself, feeling good about your body,” declared Pia. “That’s why I wanted to do this shoot. I wanted to represent the brand and represent my brand in a way that looks strong.” More than being sexy and playful, this is what Pia wanted to highlight. “Gusto ko mukha akong strong, matapang.”In honor of the brand’s 185th year, they are also releasing a new panoramic layout for the calendar, in two unique designs. Each features not just one, but three gorgeous photos of Queen P.Taken by photographer BJ Pascual, the photos show off Pia’s toned body. “I’m very happy with it,” she said. “parang mas fit pa nga ako ngayon kesa noong sumali ako ng Miss Universe!”
