Carlo Aquino could not help but be emotional at the victory party of his movie Exes Baggage, his blockbuster movie with Angelica Panganiban. The actor remarked that 2018 has been a very eventful year for him.
"Ang sarap lang nong feeling na ganito, na nakatrabaho ko [si Angelica] sa big screen. Sabi ko nga itong taon na ito parang ang daming first, 'yung makatrabaho siya ulit sa pelikula, unang beses ko makatrabaho si Dan (Villegas, director), first time ko makaakyat dito [para sa victory party]. Sobrang overhwelming ng taon at para matapos ng ganito kataas, sobrang sarap," he stated while being teary-eyed in an interview with the press.
Asked if what is the next project he wants to do with Angelica, Carlo replied, "Ang dami kasing magagandang offer, antayin na lang natin. Hopefully sana by next year makagawa ulit kami."
After Exes Baggage, Carlo has been working on a new movie titled Ulan, with Nadine Lustre. It is the first time that Carlo is working with the actress. The actor described Nadine as someone who is very engaged on her work.
"Very sweet and engaged din naman siya sa trabaho. Nakikipag-usap din naman siya, may mga inputs. Pero nakaka-isang araw pa lang ako. Feeling it out pa rin kaming dalawa," he said.
Carlo will be playing Peter, one of the leading men in the movie. Ulan is directed by Irene Villamor.
